Facebook is a great way to not only find friends and family, but it also has those "wonderful" little ad's that pop up in the corners. I chose to use a couple of this for my first topic. The first one is certainly eye catching. Not exactly a site that I would like to visit, but it's certainly a male-oriented ad. Everything is centered around the woman in a semi-circular fashion. After catching your eye, your either drawn to the name of the site, or to the sign-up sheet to the right. The colors are good, and tie in well with her *cough* outfit. The white (and blue) space ties in well with the simple layout. It has a simple regular rhythm with the font of the ad radially symmetrical around the woman. I thought it was well laid out, though not very business savvy if it's a dating site that only pertains to men.
My second site was boring and irritating. It was larger than it needed to be, with everything laid out in two overly large columns with excessive white space and little else. With one look, you want to exit the site and bang your head on a wall in frustration.
